Notice: During the Open Beta Tests, start the game only with
main.exe. Do not use Launcher.exe, because it may not work correctly or may download incorrect files.
How to Install
- Download the archive (.zip) and extract it to a folder (e.g. C:\Games\FORTMU).
- Open the game folder and run main.exe.
- Do not use Launcher.exe during the Open Beta Tests.
Additional Information
- We are currently running OPEN BETA TESTS for the next server edition: Autumn / Winter 2026.
- During the test phase, Launcher and Anticheat are temporarily disabled.
- For some users, the launcher may still open or download wrong files — in that case you will not be able to enter the server.
- Because of that, we strongly recommend launching the game only through main.exe.
Troubleshooting
- First, check whether your antivirus has moved any game files from the client folder to quarantine.
- If any files are in quarantine, restore or remove them from quarantine so they return to the game folder before launching the game again.
- If the game still does not start, completely disable your antivirus and Windows Firewall, then try again.
- Other problems should be reported on our Discord — we will do everything we can to solve them all.

By downloading the client you agree to our rules. During Open Beta Tests, the anticheat and launcher are temporarily disabled. Most connection or startup problems are caused by antivirus quarantine, Windows Firewall, or launching the game with the launcher instead of
main.exe.
